About Katja’s Place

A service built with purpose

Katja’s Place was established in 2021 by Cameron Griffiths in memory of his close friend and colleague, Katja Attwood, who passed away in 2019.

Cameron and Katja met in 2014 and worked closely together. They regularly discussed client care and service delivery - including how therapy clinics could better meet the needs of the people they support. They had planned to one day open a clinic together, and Katja’s Place was created in that shared vision.

It's a great option for families wanting their child to have the benefits of communication and navigation without the distractions of a full smartphone. Apple's Assistive Access was originally designed as an accessibility feature but is increasingly being recognised as a useful tool for creating a more focused, child-friendly experience. 🎥 Watch the video here: https://www.facebook.com/reel/1071021452158246 #ChildrensOT #OccupationalTherapy #DigitalWellbeing #AssistiveTechnology #ParentingTips #NeuroAffirming
